It does what it says, but it could do more.

I have used this several times, and I admit I like it. In fact there are only two features that I would add and then it would meet ALL of my needs.

1) Make it so it would re-arm at the end of a recording session. If you have it in video mode, and it is triggered, it will run the time in video that is set, and then turn off. And it won’t start again until you press the record button again. That should be an easy fix.

2) it would be nice if it would recieve video from a USB camera. Right now it only uses the built-in camera on My MACBook Pro. Maybe it can see both cameras on the newer macbook, but it doesn’t see a USB camera. That would be a much more difficult fix, but it would be very valuable in situations where you want the camera to monitor a certain place without having the MAC in that place.

But for the price it is worth it, and I wouldn’t discourage anyone from getting it.
